September Lawn Pest

September lawn pest. Budworms, spider mites, lace bugs and aphids can all feed on your landscape. Budworms chew on flower and vegetative buds from the inside out. Another lawn pest is a spider mite. Spider mites survive on plants cells, this means that large infestations of them can cause serious damage. Plants affected by spider mites can have yellow discoloration. Lace bugs feed on flowering plants and shrubs. If you notice white and yellow stripping leaves you may have lace bugs. Lastly, aphids feed on a variety of plants including  flowers, fruit, buds, and some roots. Look for misshapen leaves, leaves covered with a honey dew substance, and fruit. It’s a fun time of year getting ready for the holidays, but September lawn pest can ruin your mood.
