Gopher Eradication

It can be so frustrating to walk out into your yard in the morning and be immediately disrupted by huge mounds of dirts…. or worse…. a missing plant! We have heard all the horror stories.  We know just how frustrating it can be.  It is even worse that gophers are hard to control on your own.  

While, we have heard some success with the Gopher Hawk®, there are not many that we recommend.  Many of the baits on the shelf at hardware stores are multi-feeding baits.  Multi-feeding baits mean you have to be very diligent about applying bait several times in places that the gopher will find the bait.  While some people may recommend placing it in the mound, in general this is less likely to be successful there.  Bait will be pushed out with the dirt as the gopher excavates their tunnel.

End of the day, there’s lots of tools and tricks to try at home.  Unfortunately, gophers cannot always be done as a DIY project.  You will want to move quickly especially when your valuable plants are on the line.  That’s the reason we exist, to help keep your garden driving and free from harmful invaders.  We are always open to phone calls and discussing options, we definitely don’t know everything, but we are always open to helping.
